OpenMoji is an open-source emoji project created by students and professors at HfG Schwaebisch Gmuend, Germany, with contributions from 70+ external contributors. The library provides 3900+ emoji following the Unicode Emoji standard, with every emoji available in two distinct styles: color (vibrant, full-color SVG) and black (monochrome outline SVG). This dual-style approach makes OpenMoji uniquely versatile - the black variant integrates into any color scheme or dark mode. In addition to SVG files and PNG exports, OpenMoji ships as color fonts (COLRv0 + SVG, WOFF2/TTF) for desktop and web use, and as an npm package with CDN delivery. Updated to Emoji 15.1, including new emoji added in Unicode 15.1.
